Doorie Songs – Atif Aslam

Doorie is the name of Atif Aslam’s second pop-album and his first international one, which he released in 2006, the first one being Jal Pari. Doorie was a very successful album in entire Asian subcontinent including India, Pakistan and Nepal. Many of the songs were a pleasant hum, and topped charts in India and Pakistan. A lot of songs in the album were a bigger hit with the Indian audience, and remained on air for many weeks.
About Composer/Singer:
Atif Aslam is a very popular and famous pop singer from Pakistan. He was one of the original members of the Pakistani band, Jal, and recorded a lot of famous songs with them in Pakistan. Thereafter, he broke off from the band amidst a bit of controversy to release his own music albums. He uses the “Belting Technique” while singing, and has a very strong voice. He eventually came to India, and is now a prominent playback singer in Bollywood.
