Doli Saja Ke

Doli Saja Ke is prime time TV serial which is aired by Sahara channel. The prime aim of the serial is to provide complete insight into the father and daughter relationship. The story starts with the birth of a girl child where she becomes hatred for her father as her mother dies as soon as she delivers the child. She grows up midst of curses and hatred by other family members. She is eagerly waiting for her prince, who will rescue her and will take her to a dreamland where there is only happiness.
Produced by Aruna Irani, she claims the serial will be acclaimed by different groups of the society as the theme is based on “manhoos” or “cursed” women. Initial plan was for 208 episodes, but may be extended if the show clicks with the audience. Lead characters consisted for prominent actors and actresses. Barkha Bisht portrayed the role of Anupama, the lead role of the story. Anuj Saxena portrayed the role of the girl’s father. Though with often change in the lead characters and other side characters, the show did obtain attention and was declared as hit by the television industry for it attained the required TRP’s.
