Kkusum – ek aam ladki ki kahani (a story of an ordinary girl) was a super hit Indian Hindi TV serial which aired on Sony TV Asia. Kusum played by Nausheen Ali Sardaar became one of the biggest grossing Indian TV serials of all time in India. The title song of Kusum was sung by Priya Bhattacharya. Audiences easily identified themselves towards the character, towards her middle class status, her dignity, her principles, her high values, the way she faced every challenge in life brightly and positively was some of the main factors which made the character Kkusum everyone favorite. She made the audiences learn that “LIFE’S A BATTLE SO DON’T LOOSE”. This show was produced by Ekta Kapoor and aired from May 14, 2001 to November 30, 2005.
