Mera Sasural

Mera Sasural is Indian television drama aired on the Sahara One channel into year 2008. This story is of 2 young girls Goldie and Heer in their in-laws’ houses. It brings forward the struggles that women have to go through when they get married and there is a complete change of culture and background.
Main storyline starts with 2 sasurals (In Laws House) both of them based in Jammu District. Bhushan Khajuria and Yashpal Khajuria are two real brothers, from a Punjabi family who reside in same house.. Yashpal Khajuria is the elder brother who is heading the family. He is a Jagrata singer and runs a shop outside temple of the ‘Bave Wali Mata’ which comes in the way to Jammu.. Babbu and Yashpal are love each other a lot and are blessed with 3 children.Out of three the elder son is Shravan who is married to Indu. Other son Omi is army officer and an eligible bachelor, whereas daughter Goldie likes sports and is more a tomboy in her nature.
