Saat Phere is a serial aired on Zee TV. This serial has already ended, and it was shown successfully for 4 years from October 17, 2005 to May 28, 2009. Though it started with good TRPs but nearing end the TRPs fell badly and it was stopped earlier then scheduled date. Still, there are more then 800 episodes of this serial. This serial throws light on the problems of discrimination of woman in india.India has made remarkable progress in the field of education, science and technology etc. but problems still prevails which leads to degradation of women. In this serial Saloni faces such problems but she is determined to save her life.
