Shafali Verma’s Controversial Dismissal
The dismissal of Shafali Verma sparked a controversy in the Women’s Premier League final. Twitter split into two halves, one claims that it was a fair delivery while the other claims that it was a no-ball. However Shafali was given out, so according to the third umpire, it was a fair delivery as the ball was going below her waist just after passing her.
Shafali could have made a difference in the result of the match if she had lasted longer on the pitch. Shafali is an impact player and always a headache for opponents. Delhi Capitals fans were not happy with this decision.
